One of the most refreshing golf experiences in Hawaii is found at The Big Island Country Club. In fact, it is designed by the ingenious Perry Dye as a real country club layout with five sets of tees, small  Bentgrass greens, breathtaking water features, gorgeous plantings and sweeping views from high above the Kohala Coast. There's even an island green at 17 reminiscent of the famous Dye hole at the TPC Sawgrass. The maturity of this relatively new course will astound you. We'll even go out on a limb and say this is one of the 10 best layouts in the state and a can't miss for any serious golfer. Big Island Country Club is at a higher elevation than other courses, so don't forget some warmer clothes.
